How to get there
How To Get There

Develop a brand architecture that is greater than the sum of its parts.  Turn vision into strategy; then strategy into structure & action.  Resolve divisive issues according to your value.

Brand Architecture

You can have a monolithic brand like Investec, or stand-alone brands like Momentum, Outsurance, FNB & others in the FirstRand stable.  Or one of the combinations in-between.  We decode your culture into your brand architecture.
Then we define your Brand Promise & Personality – this becomes the DNA of your brand, encapsulated in your brand mantra.
Your Brand Architecture becomes the blueprint for all your brand-building activities.

Marketing Strategy

Freedthinkers combine with your marketing people to develop a marketing strategy based on the insights of what is & the vision of what can be.
Your strategy will be both ambitious & grounded, based on aspiration & current reality.
We offer advice on the most suitable communication providers & help you quality control output.  You know your organization – we know best practices – time to dance?

Culture Alignment: Eyethu Effect

In Zulu culture, issues, challenges & opportunities are debated through a series of Imbizos.  Main themes are then discussed by all parties at an Indaba.  Various solutions are proposed, but the Indaba only concludes when all participants acclaim: “Eyethu!” It is ours.
Freedthinkers has adapted this to become a health-check for organizations.  Following a series of stakeholder dialogues, key themes are distilled and debated at your Indaba, using your values as a guide.
We work together to achieve the Eyethu Effect.

The first step to getting there is a virtual visit to The Turbine.

We are often asked: What is more important – strategy or culture? We see them as a dancing couple.  Strategy is the lead, whilst culture provides the music.
